INTRODUCTION
Lumi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use the Lumi app for creating stories and collages.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Photos and Media: Lumi accesses photos from your device's library solely to create stories and collages. This content is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
Purchase and Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Lumi Premium, Apple processes your payment. We do not store your payment card details. We receive limited transaction data (e.g. subscription status, purchase date) through Apple and Adapty to manage your access to premium features.
Analytics and Usage Data: We collect anonymized data about how you use the app, including feature interactions, session duration, and user flows. This data is processed via PostHog and Firebase and does not include personally identifiable information.
Crash and Diagnostic Data: We collect crash reports and technical diagnostics via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs. This includes device model, OS version, and app version.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Apple In-App Purchases — payment processing for subscriptions
- Adapty — subscription and paywall management
- Firebase (Google) — analytics and crash reporting
- PostHog — product analytics
We do not sell your data to third parties.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To provide and unlock premium features based on your subscription status
- To improve app stability, performance, and UX
- To understand feature usage and prioritize development
- To process and restore your subscription
DATA RETENTION
Analytics and crash data is retained in accordance with the policies of the respective third-party services. Subscription data is retained as long as necessary to manage your account.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Lumi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to request access to or deletion of your data. Contact us at the address below. You can also opt out of analytics tracking in your device's privacy settings (Settings → Privacy → Tracking).
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes within the app.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading or using Lumi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
USE OF THE APP
Lumi is a creative tool for making stories and collages. Some features are available for free; others require an active Lumi Premium subscription.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
Premium Features: Certain features of Lumi are only accessible with an active Lumi Premium subscription. These features are clearly marked within the app.
Billing: Subscriptions are offered on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis and are billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through their official refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to process refunds directly.
YOUR CONTENT
You retain full ownership of all photos and content you create using Lumi. You confirm that you have the rights to use any images you import.
PROHIBITED USE
You agree not to use Lumi to:
- Create content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the app
- Circumvent subscription checks or access premium features without a valid subscription
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Lumi, its name, logo, and all app content (excluding user-created content) are the intellectual property of the developer. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Lumi is provided "AS IS". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of any features, including premium features.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lumi, including loss of content or interruption of access.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
